Starting in the early morning darkness under a starlit sky, your guide will lead you on an unforgettable ascent up Mount Batur. Your Mount Batur adventure begins with a hotel pickup between 02:00 and 03:00, depending on your location. We’ll drive you to the starting point at Pura Jati Temple, where you’ll meet and greet your experienced Mount Batur trekking guide. A simple yet informative briefing will ensure a safe and comfortable trek. Under a starlit sky, your guide will lead you up the slopes of Mount Batur (1,717 meters). You’ll reach the summit by around 06:00 AM, just in time for an unforgettable sunrise. While waiting for the breathtaking sunrise over Lake Batur and Mount Rinjani, enjoy a simple breakfast of egg sandwiches, bananas, and hot coffee or tea, served by your guide. After sunrise, continue your journey to explore a deep cave inside the main crater. On the descent, walk along the main rim and the most recent lava flows, taking in the stunning volcanic landscape.
